What happens when two bodies are forced to share the same space? Choreographer and dancer Fatou Cissé explores how people relate to one another on shared and sometimes contested ground. In Performance D, two bodies meet in a physical dialogue where attraction and resistance, vulnerability and power are constantly shifting.
On stage, the space between the dancers becomes a site of tension and negotiation. Who takes up space? Who sets the rules? Where does connection emerge?
Through her expressive physical language, Cissé reveals how living together requires constant negotiation, friction and surrender. Performance D is both confrontational and vulnerable: a performance about the complex dynamics of coexistence.

Coming Home – Bahghi

A solo performance full of improvisation, blending jazz, neo-soul and R&B. With her warm, clear voice, Bahghi weaves personal stories, audience interaction and her distinctive sense of humour into her performance. Her original songs are inspired by her Eritrean heritage and her love of jazz.

Wat gebeurt er wanneer twee lichamen dezelfde ruimte moeten delen? Choreograaf en danser Fatou Cissé onderzoekt hoe mensen zich tot elkaar verhouden op gedeelde en soms omstreden grond. In Performance D ontmoeten twee dansers elkaar in een fysieke dialoog waarin aantrekking en weerstand, kwetsbaarheid en macht voortdurend verschuiven.
De ruimte tussen de dansers wordt een plek van spanning en onderhandeling. Wie neemt de ruimte in? Wie bepaalt de regels? Waar ontstaat verbinding? Met haar expressieve lichaamstaal maakt Cissé voelbaar hoe samenleven vraagt om afstemming, frictie en overgave.

Een soloperformance vol improvisatie waarin jazz, neo-soul en R&B samenkomen. Met haar warme, heldere stem neemt Bahghi je mee in persoonlijke verhalen en haar eigenzinnige gevoel voor humor. Haar zelfgeschreven nummers zijn geïnspireerd door haar Eritrese achtergrond en haar liefde voor jazz.
